Hi all, long time lurker here.
I found this video during my daily browsing and immediately thought of rifftrax, so I thought I'd post this here.

Old Fayshin'd Hamburgers and an acid trip in the video room

This is seemingly innocuous until about the 3:45 mark of part one... except for the fascination with Wendy's square patties that hang over the bun... but after that it tries for "hip" and lands somewhere around "tits-up crazy". It's also nice to see ol' Dave Thomas, may he R.I.P, I have missed his homespun  spokesmanship since his passing.

I was just entering the work force as a teenager in the late 80s / early 90s.. a long gone era when the 40something white dudes in charge of corporate training videos decided that rap music was the only way to communicate with the minimum wage employee demographic. I remember being subjected to similarly themed video when I worked at McDonald's... and not even wanting to laugh at it... just feeling embarrassed for everybody involved.

I've missed the quality of the franchise since Dave Thomas left us.  Still ahead of the others but not by much

May I point out that the Baconator did not exist until after Dave's time?

His acting is kind of stiff.  It reminds me of Jimmy James.

5:33 is nightmare fuel.

One thing they're not too clear on, is why are the patties square?  I was hoping they'd explain that.

Nothing to say that Dave would have been against the Baconator...

But if Dave was still running things, you get everything you're supposed to with your Baconator without a fight.

Wait, this was referenced in The Onion once.

QuoteThe habit grew worse in the spring of 1996, when Vartan discovered eBay.

"Man, that blew my mind," said Vartan, who combs the popular auction site for ironic items almost daily. "I couldn't believe the amazing stuff you could find on there. Like, about a month ago, I found this bootleg Wendy's employee-training video from the mid-'80s where this black kid does this how-to-cook-the-burgers rap. I shit you not."
