My theater didn't get the feed

We arrived earlier at the Regency 6 in San Rafael, but were told it was canceled, and they didn't get the feed, and they didn't get it yesterday either. I was very disappointed, as I was looking forward to seeing the show for some time. By that time, it was too late to go to another theater.

Did this happen anywhere else? Is there any possibility they'll be another encore?

Sorry to hear about this.  I'm not sure what might have caused this but I'll have the people who are in contact with Fathom look into this, as it is definitely something between them and the theaters.

I was at the same theater tonight (in fact I'm pretty sure I saw facelong) and took a portion of that shaft myself. Theater wouldn't refund, saying it was fandango's problem. Fandango doesn't do refunds, though I'm trying anyway.

So, in sum, I'm out $25 with jack to show for it, and I'm angry.

Woah, take your ticket back and demand to see a manager. Every other theater in the country got the Satellite Feed without issue, so the problem was on their end -- and Fandango had nothing to do with it. They screwed up, and if they need to work with Fandango to get your money back (or a Certificate for two tickets, at least) they should get on that.

And if you still can't get anywhere, contact your credit card and dispute it.

That's absurd.  Fandango handles the ticketing.  They don't have anything to do with the theater's operations.  As has been suggested, take it to the theater manager, and if that doesn't work, open a dispute with your credt card company.

Doctor Who?

Sounds like a shady theater if they didn't give you your money back right away.  I would never go there again if I were you.  As has been said it has nothing to do with Rifftrax or Fandango.

If the manager refuses a refund, head further up the chain. Call a different theater in the chain, ask to speak to their manager and then get the name and phone # of their district manager from them. Don't go into details, just tell that manager that you have a problem with another manager that isn't being resolved and you'd like to talk to someone above them. And if that doesn't work, Cinemark's corporate  phone # is 1-800-246-3627. Call & complain loudly.

Tell them that if they will not give you a refund you will call the BBB,I have found that works wonders with companies that are making trouble.

Yeah, I agree with everything said here. We can't do anything, unfortunately - it's out of our hands. We're really sorry to hear that happened (we don't like it when people miss out) but your best bet is to go to the highest person in the chain of command you can find and raise hell.
