Yeah I noticed that too. They either change it or hunker down for a torrent of Star Trek nerd rage, the likes of which not seen since the series finale of Enterprise. And I don't think I need to remind you all of how much hate that fueled.

Yup. They need the crappy 'ol Red uniforms. However, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the old series spandex. :o

Nice poster.  Aren't those the Next Generation uniforms, though?  ;D

I would go take another look at the battlefield earth poster. :P

Star Trek VI was well reviewed when it originally came out.  Surprisingly though, Cold War metaphors have not aged well...

Well there was one Cold War movie in particular that did not age very well, and deserves a very thorough riffing. You all know what I'm talkin' 'bout.

"Amazing Grace & Chuck"? "Russkies"? "Short Circuit"? "Iron Eagle"? "Invasion U.S.A."?  "Wargames"?  "Firefox"?  "Rocky IV"? "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"? Give me some help here.

I actually thought the uniforms they use in this movie were a lot better. This movie in general focuses on a much of militarized Federation (yes I'm a trekkie so stop reading if you don't care) and its gradual shift away from Gene Roddenberry's Utopian ideal that made up a good amount of the first 5 films. The uniforms genuinely reflected it. They weren't pajamas like Next Generation. I liked them. Especially when the day was over and they kinda ripped off the side.  ;D

I did see a post somewhere online where a Trekkie was talking about how they used the wrong Enterprise for the STV riff.

One of the pages in the game's post completely locks up my computer. Consistantly - did it 3 times and every time my computer flat out froze. I think its page 15, although I haven't gone through the whole thing.

Huh that's weird. What was the url of the page. It might have been one of those flash ones.

The only thing out of the ordinary we used is flash (for a couple sound clips). Or maybe it's the one with 9 or so hampster dance animated GIFs. You might want to see if your browser is running any corrupted plugins.

Back in the day I started out with Mozilla, based solely on a recommendation from one of the hosts of then Tech TV's 'The Screen Savers'  The fact that it almost completely eliminates pop-up ads was worth it alone. I've since migrated to Firefox 2.0 and never been happier...

I 3rd that motion; I had never owned star trek ANYthing before this happened...

But I'm more upset about now owning battlefield earth

dignan

Aw, come on, owning Star Trek movies isn't that bad.  It's not like they made you buy the tv show.
