Dr Phil isn't a bad person but he is really not nearly as great as people make him out to be since all the stuff he says is common sense. He sure as hell is no genius and should not have any reverence period.

Star Jones is annoying, but not in my top ten. Barbara and Rosie are far more annoying to me. And steven Seagal and Michael Moore aren't really tv people - they're film personas or else Moore would be on my list lol.

As for the Dr. Phil controversy - Yeah I agree, he just spits common sense and for some reason match.com is hooking people up with his advice =P.

All you have to do is yell common sense haltingly in a Texas drawl at totally clueless people and apparently they'll think you're a genius. I'm from Texas myself and I think the guy is only popular because Oprah made him so. Why Oprah herself is so popular is a whole 'nother conundrum I just can't understand.
