A Twilight fan was hospitalised after getting into a fight with another girl over a Robert Pattinson poster.

The unnamed girl was one of the lucky three hundred girls who won a competition to attend the premiere of the Pattinson DVD Robsessed at London's Prince Charles Cinema. However, a fight broke out over the last few remaining posters at the event.

Eyewitness Precious Acabousi said, "There was a lot of pushing and shoving, everyone was crowding around them.

"I heard gasps as one of the girls fell on the floor, she was in terrible pain and had twisted her arm - she was screaming for help.

"The poster had been ripped in two."

A spokesperson for the DVD, added, "We had plenty of posters printed, but obviously some people picked up more than others, and so the fight broke out."

The injured fan was taken to hospital and missed the screening of the documentary.

They're gushing all over the movie, btw.

I can't help wishing all these people would kill each other off in similar events.... is that wrong?

I'd assume Twilight fans wish the same on people who snark about Twilight, maybe you can take each other out  ;)

[montypython] .....providing they're both perfectly fit I can see nothing wrong with one healthy man beating the living daylights out of a little schoolgirl. [/montypython}

Sideswipe

what we need is some Roman gladiator style action where they dangle a Twilight poster in the middle of an arena and let a group of Twitards battle to the death over it while we watch the carnage.  Have a few Twilight dvds spread on the ground to use as weapons would be a nice touch too.  That would rule.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

And judging by how Twilight fans conceptualize machismo, it would be a pretty short battle I think.

Can Bella be any less into her own birthday party? I'm going to pretend that whatever happens next in a room full of vampires after she cuts herself is not so much about the blood, but about her being an ungrateful witch.

How happy would you be with that blonde at your party?  "I'm giving you this but I want to make it perfectly clear that I didn't buy it and they're practically forcing me to do it...now drop dead so I don't have to deal with you anymore."

Point. But I'd probably just ignore her and pay more attention to everyone else in the room being nice. Regardless, I'm sure however the scene ends will be hilarious. Especially if someone's face gets shoved into the cake.

I saw this somewhere to the end....one of the movie trailers, I think.

Harpo makes a lunge at Bella and Edward knocks him across the room...and I think Edward just takes Bella out of the house and the whole "You're not safe around me - you'll never see me again" crap starts.

(No...she's not safe around your family...and if you're going to leave, why not take her with you?)

And that's when the PedoWolf starts taking off his shirt.  Heheheheh

But first Dreadlock Vampire has to show up and threaten Bella - even though he came to warn them about James (?) the last time.  Not a "good" guy anymore?   ???

Guess we should just be happy there's anyone of color in something written by a Mormon.

I would so pay to watch that.
