I'm rooting for Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.

I'm rooting for a playthrough of Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind.

On behalf of our newer players, it might be a good idea for the mods (yes, I see you there, torgosPizza) to once again list the rules of the Twenty Questions game.  Heck, I might have forgotten one or two since I last saw them.

And might I suggest one more rule to be adopted, now or in the future?  Any player who guesses a specific movie incorrectly is out of the game.  That might slightly cut back on the avalanche of players taking wild guesses early in the game, to the detriment of narrowing down the choices.

It might also prevent the first fifteen questions posted after 11 am Pacific today from being "Is it Star Trek?"  Should cut it down to twelve at least.

Perhaps a rule forbidding guessing a movie within at least the first 5 questions.

When questions are wasted in guessing a RiffTrax, it's society that suffers most.

Oh that would make it interesting.

Hmm, intriguing ideas. Maybe we'll put them into effect for the next game.

I can live with it either way.  If nothing else, it might discourage a couple people from spamming the game in hopes of scoring a free Rifftrax. (I've been tempted myself in that direction.  Never claimed my prize for The Matrix Revolutions because I really didn't have much hand in figuring the movie out; I was just faster typing in the answer.)

Okay, here we go with some rules. (I've updated Conor's first post to reflect this.)

1. Quote the previous question and answer in your new question.

Example:

Quote
Is it Red Dawn?

No. 1.

Is it NOT Red Dawn?

2. Ask 2 questions immediately after one another? Disqualified!
(In other words, if your question gets answered, you cannot ask another question for at least one turn.)

3. Ask an incorrect movie title? Disqualified!
(If you just start shouting out movie titles, it slows down the game, and it costs you that turn as well as any future turns.)

Strategy is key! So have fun! The winner gets a gift certificate for free trax.
