Speaking of Japanese craziness, you could try out Versus.  It's pretty cool, and has zombies!

Unfortunately the only trailer i could find on YouTube wouldn't be appropriate for the forum.
Instead, here is a short scene from the film.

Zombie Lake

La, la, la... i'm a German soldier walking through the forest. Oh crap! I've been shot, and they're throwing my body into a nearby lake. Okay, it's been about ten years or so... might as well become a zombie. Grrr! Hey look, a little girl is offering us a bowl of tomato soup. Oh no! It was a trick, and now we're being torched by flamethrowers. The end.

Best Scene: An entire women's volleyball team goes skinny-dipping while the zombies (and cameraman) lurk directly below them.

Worst Scene: Wait a minute, that lake is totally a swimming pool covered in black tarps. Is that a drain?

Touching Moment: The zombie father meets his young daughter for the first time. Awwwww.

I forgot about this one. It was pretty good.

Zombie Strippers is definitely worth one viewing. It's not a bad as you would think.

Zombie Holocaust

WARNING: This film features very few zombies and even fewer holocausts.  Also in short supply: coherence, decent dubbing, and the slightest hint of quality.

Orderlies at a hospital in New York are stealing and eating body parts from cadavers.  For no discernible reason, this spurs the guy from Zombie to go to some island in the East Indies and be attacked by cannibals.  There's also a smattering of sort-of-zombies, and a mad doctor who looks like Harvey Keitel, and, well... the thing makes not a lick of sense, but it has some good gore footage and even better totally gratuitous full frontal.

Best Scene: The mad doctor is in the process of removing a young lady's brain while she is still conscious.  He finds her screams and whimpers distracting, so he casually snips her vocal cords.  There!  Problem solved!

Worst Scene: A guy leaps to his death from a tall building, magically turning into a mannequin in midair.  When he lands, his arm goes shooting off about twenty feet, but when we cut to the crumpled heap on the pavement, the arm has somehow reattached itself.

Goriest Scene: Ah, the eighties!  You just don't get too many outboard motor-to-the-face kills in this day and age.

Hooray for Steve-O getting in the spirit with a film like Zombie Holocaust... despite having small children in the house! Hopefully they weren't actually in the house at the time. And instead far, far away somewhere when you watched that mess of a film!

Automaton Transfusion

Fuck this movie! Fuck it right in the ass! I was willing to forgive the bad acting, the nu-metal soundtrack and the horrible camerawork (was this shot on a cell phone?) But if i stick with you for the entire length of your shitty movie i deserve something more than "To Be Continued." Yeah, that's right... these guys had the balls to leave the audience hanging. No resolution, not even a reprieve. It felt like someone cut the film with a big ole' pair of rusty scissors, then laughed in my face. Oh yeah... retro spoiler alert about how the movie ends and stuff.

Best Scene: Fuck this movie.

Worst Scene: Fuck this movie.

Should You Fuck This Movie: Yes. Just like that dude in SE7EN is forced to fuck that hooker with an evil, metal condom with knives and stuff on it.

Relaxing Dragon

Isn't that the movie where someone rips a fetus from a pregnant girl, and eats it in front of her while she screams for him to stop? And somehow manages to make what I just said really funny to watch?

Hor-RIFF-ic Productions

Ooooo, I want to play!

Now just to pick from the 12,326 zombie movies sitting on my shelf.  :-\

Can't say that i really remember any funny, baby-eating scenes in Automaton Transfusion. It was mostly just a bunch of teenagers running around screaming and stuff. Maybe you're thinking of the new Dawn Of The Dead remake? Although, that was a zombie baby... so probably not. But now you've got me all curious.

The Return Of The Living Dead

A couple guys working at a medical supply company accidentally release a zombie gas called Trioxin into the air. Soon, thanks to a zombie cremation, the poison mixes with the rain water and seeps into a nearby cemetery... reanimating most of the corpses buried there. The survivors eventually join forces with some new wave punk rockers as they battle to stay alive until help can arrive.

This is one of my favorite zombie movies of all time. It has a great sense of humor, an awesome soundtrack, and the zombies can actually run, jump, think and talk. So all of that seemed pretty new to me at the time. Plus, the punk rock chick totally gets naked for most the movie!

Best Scene: After eating the paramedics, a zombie gets on the ambulance radio and says "Send more paramedics." And they do!

Worst Scene: The weird domestic dispute between a general and his really old looking wife.

Best Song: Surfin' Dead by The Cramps!

While I'm still digging through my horror dvd shelf trying to decide what old favorite(s) I most want to rewatch and review... I figured and go ahead and take a crack at a newer movie I just happened to watch a few days ago.  So here goes...

GRACE

Two words... Zombie. Baby.

An Official Description... "When an accident takes the life of the unborn, 8-month-old fetus inside her, Madeline Matheson insists on delivering the stillborn child -- only to discover that the baby is alive and heinously hungry. Before long, voracious baby Grace spurns milk and forces Madeline to slake her insatiable appetite for blood."

The good: I found this one surprisingly creepy, which is rare.  I spent most of the movie trying to figure out if the little zombie was reality, or if this was all in the main character's head, which seems to happen all too often now in movies.  I give the story props, though, for keeping me guessing for so long, as this also doesn't happen very often.

Also thrown in is a bit of irony with the normally Vegan mother now having to feed her child human blood.  And be honest, we all like to stick it to the vegans now and then right?

The silly:  I found the lesbian dynamic between the mother and her doctor a little forced and awkward.  Don't get me wrong, I don't normally mind a little lesbianism in my horror movies... but in this case it just seemed completely unnecessary.

The gross:  Half-eaten boob.  Ew.

Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.  (It's at least better than the It's Alive remake that has also come out recently.)

That movie sounds creepy as hell. Definitely not your average zombie movie, more like "atmospheric horror." Looks pretty good, and i'm sure that's exactly the kind of film that my girlfriend would enjoy watching with me. Wait... stop... reserve that... it's exactly the kind of movie she would absolutely hate, and probably break up with me afterward. That's what i meant to say.

Return Of The Living Dead Part II

A barrel of Trioxin falls off a military transport truck and unleashes the zombie nightmare in a brand new town. A little more silly than the first film, but almost as much fun, this sequel seems aimed at a younger audience. And strangely, two of the actors return to play basically the same roles despite being... well, kinda' blown up in the last movie.

Best Scene: After getting zombified, this dude actually tries to talk his girlfriend into letting him eat her brains. And, as if she's giving up her virginity or something, she actually lets him! Oh yeah... according to the same zombie boyfriend, apparently brains taste spicy.

Worst Scene: There's this talking zombie head that somehow finds it's way across town despite having no body, and she speaks with the lamest accent. I don't know how to describe it though... kinda' like a trashy female truck driver or something. Anyway it looks horrible, and they made no attempt to sync it with the mouth at all.

Pseudo-Guest Star: While all the zombies are getting electrocuted, a Michael Jackson zombie wanders into frame and does a little Thriller dance before dying.

Yes, glad to see more people watching Grace. That is a damned creepy movie, and one to keep far away from pregnant people.

Also, I <3 Return of the Living Dead II.
