Poor Bob looks like Tara Reed.

Aww that's unfair, his nipples don't look quite so much like jumbo pepperonis.

His pic also look just unflattering enough that you don't think "photoshop"......like the other one almost screams....so what might look good to someone would be real.

for those of you excited about the new Forks, Washington Documentary, here's another one

QuoteWe previously told you about the "Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town" documentary, which features interviews with the real people of Forks, Washington, the town that serves as the primary setting for the popular "Twilight" books and films.

Now comes news that UK distributor Revolver has bought the rights to "Rob-sessed," a feature length documentary about the "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.

The new film takes a look at the teenage phenomenon known as being "Rob-sessed" and Pattinson's rise to one of the most sought-after young actors. "Teenagers just can't get enough of Robert Pattinson and this broadcast quality biography is guaranteed to deliver whether on TV or home entertainment," said Revolver executive Justin Marciano.

Revolver is planning to release the documentary on DVD in the US and the UK in November to coincide with the theatrical release of "Twilight Saga: New Moon," the second film in the franchise.

Finally watched the riff of the Twilight last night.

The riff was very good.

The movie was very... I won't say bad, because I think it nailed everything it was trying to do right on the mark.  It was very very movie.

- Moody, weird stuttering girl?  Yeah, I bought that act.
- Empty hummingbird high school cutouts?  Yeah, I believed those.
- Gay/safe protector who will never ever try to get to second base?  If such exist, yeah, I guess I bought that too.  Angry little cuss, though.
- Hot/friendly vampire family which doesn't eat food and doesn't have guests over but has a full gourmet industrial kitchen?  Sure, why not?
- Movie/book not aimed at me and doing quite well with its demographic?  Fine, all right.

Thing is, I hate vampire fiction.  I'm a pretty black & white guy, so anything other than "look, it's a monster, stake it!" leaves me shaking my head.   King's Salem's Lot was okay, but I only read it because my GF at the time wanted me to.  I was 20 pages into Brust's Agyar before I realized it was a vampire book, but I'd read something Brust wrote if he tattooed it on his sack, so that's not a fair comparison.

So do I want to have anything more to do with Twilight or its book or movie franchises?  Hell no, except for riffing, But I sure wish I could write MY dreams down and get a jillion dollars for it.  You go, Ms. Hacky McDrivelette!

Man, I remember five or six years ago when pirates were mega-popular. Now it's vampires.

I wonder which fictional archetype will be obsessed over next.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

I hope it's strolling minstrels.

Satyrs would be fun though.

How about consulting detectives   ;)

It makes me hate the movie even more. If you're going to unleash a crappy movie, you should have the soundtrack to match it, dammit!

Question is do the rabid "Twilight" fans have the taste to appreciate this music?

RobtheBarbarian

Of course not, because taste does not exist in people who like things you don't.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Sorry...I keep forgetting.

There is nothing in the world that sucks - not a Uwe Boll movie, not an exploitative reality show, not a Vanilla Ice record, not an air-headed teen flick that claims that unhealthy obsession equals love, nothing at all - as long as someone out there likes it.
