new payment system

Not to be a party pooper but I'm extremely anti custom payment system. I hate filling out things like billing and shipping addresses, especially since... this is download only.

What was wrong with going straight to paypal?

Because it's a monetary transaction. Any business that takes payment needs to have some sort of verification of your identity. It's not like you're going to be entering your CC#, unless you are paying with one of course.

You had to enter that information when you signed up with PayPal, so there really is no difference here IMO.

The problem with PayPal was a lot of people didn't want to pay with it, or didn't know how to pay with a credit card and not have a PayPal account (even though it's described on their site).

We had to implement the new system to make things easier on both ends. There you have it.

I bought the Troll 2 rifftrax about an hour ago and still haven't recieve an email with a link to be able to download it.  I paid with paypal.  I sent an email to support@rifftrax.com, so I'm sure they'll get back to me, but in the meantime..has anyone else had this issue?

I was a little shocked at the new system, but its not that big of a deal.

I did prefer getting the download link immediately after you paid. But waiting a few more mins for the email with the link is no biggie.

Unless...

Sorry to hear this mrbakasan. You should have rec'd the email with the link within 5 mins after paying. Are you sure you don't have any spam blockers turned on? Maybe check your junk mail folder...

I figured I was supposed to have recieved it by now.  Thanks for the advice about the Junk folder, but unfortunately it isn't in there either.  Oh well, I'm sure it will all get worked out eventually.
