Rained out in Buffalo

Well, not only did we have to suffer the shame of the other Buffalo theater winning the twitter prize, but a storm rolled in during the first song and we stared at a menu screen for half an hour before being sent home with refunds. Bummer :(

My friend was there, told me that was what happened. Said someone opened the fire exit and it was pouring out. Now I hope that storm doesn't make it to where I am (Syracuse)

I wonder what they will do about getting the free stuff for the people that got rained out

Yeah, I was there, and "pouring out" is a major understatement.  When they opened that exit door, it was a MONSOON outside.

I'm also wondering about the free stuff. We heard the Giveaway part after the short, but thinking I would get another chance to hear/see the URL I didn't write it down. I remember the password, but not the URL.  >:(  Ah well, some hilarity was had: http://twitpic.com/eoxlm - When the satellite feed went down, the MST3K fans were true to form. Press the button, Frank!

Maybe next time??

Being originally from Buffalo, I feel for you guys but be Thankful it wasn't during your winter season with a lake effect Blizzard outside.. :speechless:

That sucks guys. Sorry to hear that (there were other places that got rained out too in other parts of the country). We'll let you know what's going to happen with that.

I was at the Williamsville Regal.  We lost the signal a couple of times, but when we left the theater, it wasn't raining that hard at all.  We had maybe 10-15 minutes of downtime in all, so it wasn't too bad.  I hope they do these live events more often, just maybe use fiber optics if possible.
Man, that guy's got a small face.

We could always try to guilt you guys into doing a live show here :)

Since there are obviously no illegal copies of this performance floating around out there, there's no reason for me to ask for links of sites to stay away from so I'm not accidently exposed to such obvious copyright violations...

Or try to figure out how we can get the URLS we missed...

Exactly.  I want my special stuff! :( It'd take the sting out of missing the entire Plan 9 movie a lil.
