I'm sensing some illegal activity happening here.  Mr. Wiseau will be very interested in knowing how you are tearing him apart.

Arrr, matey!

I also don't own this movie, but have a reauthor of the Rifftrax. Make of that what you will.

That sounds like owning the movie.   ;)

But as long as Rifftrax gets paid (or donated to) that's what's important.

Wiseau looks like he's making much more money off of this thing than he deserves already.

And all he's doing with the money is making more stuff like "The Neighbors" anyway.  Usually, I'm not against tthe creation of jobs. But in this case...

Can I say something real quick....

Based on what I've been told by friends who do this....

I don't know what the powers that be are so worried about all of these people downloading stuff and seeing their stuff without paying for it anyway.  Evidently, very, very few actually watches the stuff they download.

They just get it and then re-seed it with missing episodes out of a season, mislabeled stuff and even stuff with no sound.

From what I understand, it's not so much the random downloaders like me they're so worried about, it's the seeders and those who actually sell copies of the movies. If I do partake in a little online privateering, it's for my benefit only.

Are you seeding while you are downloading, cuz if so you are the devil and must be stopped!

Hey, at least he's not a terrorist like those people who jailbreak their iPhones.

Doctor Who?

I refuse to pay for an MP3 file of anything that I own on CD or tape.  How evil am I?

According to Jack Valenti (see the pic of the old fart above, you're the root of all evil.

Saw him in an interview on TV saying that if you had a CD and want to listen to in your car you need to buy a second copy, dammit!

To which I say, when I'm making the kind of money you're stealing every year, Mr. Valenti....I will.  Assuming you don't get all of your music and movies as freebies and screeners being you're in the business....   >:(

Doctor Who?

Tape as in audio tape, the way you had to buy music when I was a kid.

Wow I hope Jack Valenti knows that if it was the law that you had to buy a new CD for each cd player no one would buy any cds.  I don't think I would shed a tear if all the music companies went bankrupt.  They seem to be the most useless and most corrupt of any companies out there and I hate the way they try to act like people who download are terrorist.

Trent Reznor said in an interview on NPR that music companies just don't get it - you can only sell art once.  Then it belongs to mankind.

Meanwhile he's been selling his stuff himself online and he's not living in a box in an alley.   ;)

call me crazy, but I don't want to actually own anything by Trent Reznor

Does that bring the thread full circle?

Doctor Who?

I heard meatalica is going to drop CDs after their next album because working with the music companies is costing them money now.  I think the CD and today's model for the music indestry is going to be dead in  five years at the most.
