I've realized at this late date I have not yet added my picture to the gallery.

Unfortunately, the same will be true at tomorrow's later date.

Many of you will recognize me from by ill-fated run for the Presidency in 2004 (the Esposito For America^® campaign website is still archived at http://espo2004.org).

But that was back in 2004.  See, this is 2007.  Different world.

Since 2004, I have gotten a few years older (six and a half years older, oddly).  Then there was that unfortunate being-mauled-by-a-mountain-lion-and-requiring-a-face-transplant thing.  And, of course, the over-reported business a little while ago when Angelina Jolie "stole" me from Jennifer Aniston (fact was, it was all a misunderstanding; I was understandably trying for a three-way).

In any case...

In order to put to rest some rumors, I feel it a propitious time to make an announcement.

Yesterday I filed a Statement of Organization for a committee exploring a presidential candidacy with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

The Esposito For America 2008^® Presidential Exploratory Committee was formed for the purpose of "testing the waters," and determining to what extent the public zeitgeist is calling for a potential Presidential bid.

Should the Committee decide in favor of my Presidential run, new photos will be distributed to this RiffTrax thread and to the White House "Meatgrinder" Press Corps.

Please direct all questions to my Press Secretary.
