Both created at different times. I think one of 'em was accidentally necrobumped. :^)

Sorry, guys, I posted the news story again about 6 minutes after Scrivener. Didn't see his post.

I think it's really awesome that Matt Maiellaro really WAS the first assistant director of the second unit of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth.

Ka-Bump!

Just got back from ATHF:MFFT and was not disappointed in the least. The movie was as good as any of the episodes (Maybe better.) and actually manages to keep up the unique sense of humor for the hour and a half duration. If you have any love for ATHF, you will not be disappointed. If you don't, the movie won't change your mind. :^)

48% on Rotten Tomato, though by judging what the negative reviewers try to pass off as humor (2 on the front page made reference to Boston and called this the real bomb) I really wanna see this

Hobbit

For a little perspective on the whole Boston thing, these little guys had been up for two weeks before anybody decided it was a bomb, and about a week or two later, the whole thing happened all over again, only this time, it was a speed camera.

This is why it would be a bad idea for me to have a lot of money. If I could, I would have gladly offered to pay the $2 million that Turner paid to the city of Boston, on the condition that Turner retracted their apology, and publicly called the city's leaders out as the clueless, panicky IDIOTS they truly are.

What sucks is that even though Turner bought off the city, so they and the advertising company are off the hook, the two guys who placed the ads are still facing charges. The same guys who were hired by the advertising company who is not in trouble now.

The mayor and the police chief in Boston are stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's either: prosecute these two guys as though they were criminals (and keep a straight face while doing it), or admit that you're a moron, and resign in disgrace. Since the two politicians in question are currently the ones with the legal right to use force, guess which option they're choosing?   >:(

If there were any justice, the two stoners being prosecuted would run for mayor and police chief in the next elections. They probably wouldn't win, but the resulting brouhaha would certainly hold the empty suits who occupy those positions now up for the ridicule and humiliation they so richly deserve.

Shinigami

I watched it last night to see what its like.  It's basically one long episode.  The gags do die a little bit after a while once it become obvious that they are struggling to keep the movie moving.

That STILL frosts me. At no time were the stupid signs EVER purporting to be anything other than advertising. It's just bullshit ass-covering by Boston's incompetent city officials.
