whats the coolest craziest hugest dvd set you own

[iv3rdawG]

T-Shirt, DVD and some other collectibles.

[Relaxing Dragon]

Lucky, I'd love to own a special Kill Bill like that. *sigh* Oh well, guess I've just got to wait the long wait for The Whole Bloody Affair like everyone else.

What I've got:

And a bundle of TV show seasons (House 1-3, every Simpsons so far (except 11... for now), some [adult swim] shows, and more).

[Claude]

The Yakuza Papers: Battles Without Honor & Humanity Box Set.

Five of the grittiest Japanese gangster movies ever, by notorious splatterking Kinji Fukusaku.

The plots are so complicated and treacherous, the boxset actually comes with a map in case you lose track.

When I die, I want the Battles horn solo of death to play.

[EVOLUTION117]

I like your version of the X-Files set better than the one we have here in the States....

If the US Box Set is this one

Then don't feel too bad, since the one I've got only had the Series and none of the other extras that come in that one. Not even the movie. It's only real advantages are it's look and the fact that it's a lot sturdier than the new one. See, we've also got that version available here now and my friend bought it. And first thing I noticed was that it was flimsy as hell.

And as for Regular Box Sets, I've got crap loads:

House Seasons 1 - 4
Stargate SG-1 Seasons 1-8
Quantum Leap Seasons 1 - 5
Sliders Seasons 1 - 3
The Invisible Man Season 1
The Dead Zone Seasons 1 - 4
Charmed Seasons 1 - 6
Angel Seasons 1 - 5
E.R. Seasons 1 - 6
Firefly
CSI Seasons 1 - 7
CSI Miami Seasons 1 - 5
CSI NY Seaons 1 - 4
Prison Break Season 1
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Seasons 1 - 3
Futurama Seasosn 1 - 3
Frasier Seasons 1 - 9 & 11
The Simpsons Seasons 1 - 7
Lois & Clark Seasons 1 -4
24 Seasons 1 - 5
Smallville Seasons 1 - 5
Lost Seasons 1 - 4
Heroes Seasons 1 & 2
Beast Machines
The Transformers:
G1
Headmasters
Super God Masterforce
Victory
Robots in Disguise
Beast Machines

I'd like to add things like that Batman TAS Boxset to this list if WB would release the damn thing in the UK. Heck, release the regular Box Sets for all I care. We've only ever gotten the first two Volumes of Batman TAS and a few episodes of Justice League that are passed off as movies. Same goes for Transformers with Beast Wars and those new Box sets of Cybertron, Energon or the new 'Animated' series where unlike in the US where you get 'Season One' we get 'Season One - Volume 1' with only 4 Episodes.

Seriously...where's the love?

Got "The Wire - The Complete Series" in the mail yesterday.  At 23 discs, it's officially the biggest DVD set I own:

[gojikranz]

got this with my christmas loot.  really cool if you are a lynch fan, though lots of repeat discs along with the new exclusives.

[SmilinJackRoss]

After seeing Spaced in the previous post I thought for a second this was a screencap of Tim.

Yes, my movie star good looks are quite striking.

Just ordered that and the GI Joe one..

Now to ditch the Rhino versions...

[iv3rdawG]

My favorite now is probably the MST3K 20th Anniversary tin box set signed by Mike, Kevin and Bill.

The only thing I can think of when I see this is that it reminds me of a small Mexican Chiwowwow!

WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY, COOP??

[Kete]

I certainly wouldn't say big or crazy, but it is pretty freakin' cool:

I just got the box set and I think this is a bit cooler than even the TF G1 box set!

The box is a small foot locker.. I is like a thick card board trunk. Metal along the edges holding it together. I thought it would be a cardboard box that the lid slides off of. Nope. It has metal hinge top that opens up.

When you open up it looks like a control panel communication device! That is awesome! You lift that and on the back are the DVD boxes. Each box opens like a book with a DVD per page. on the bottom of the case are the USB drive and booklet and below the book are the tattoos.

The TF matrix set is great but the packaging of this is even more awesome!

If you like this series this DVD set kicks ass!!

[Bob]

That's pretty good packaging.

GI Joe passed me by, but that looks like a great set for fans.
