Apparently, a remake of The Karate Kid is being made - with Jackie Chan taking over for Pat Morita, and Will Smith's son filling Ralph Macchio's shoes started filming today.

In this remake it is now about putting on and taking off a jacket.


So in the trailer Jackie Chan is yelling at Will Smith's kid "JACKET OFF"  ....

I will admit geeking out a little bit at the one trailer when "You're The Best" was playing at the end during the fly gag. But that's ALL I'll admit.

the fly bit made me smile, but the rest of the movie is crap..

I watched the Next Karate Kid for the first time a year ago.  It wasn't a good show, but it sure beat Karate Kid III.
