Did you see the last Indy movie?

It was a big middle finger to the last 3 movies.

Ok here is my reasoning plain and simple I didn't like one second of the last movie I didn't like the Star Wars prequels and I think Ford is too old so I don't think there should be another one.

There I have had may say now you can question me all you want but it will not change the fact that I don't want to see this movie.

Carry on.

Didn't you just go through a 6-month angstification over the Star Trek movie for pretty much the same reasons, and then end up actually liking the movie when you finally did see it?

Here's some unsolicited advice for you:  There are a couple of ways to express your concern for another entry in a movie franchise that you hold dear that wouldn't make folks wince.

One might be "Man, I have a pretty bad feeling about Indy 5.  4 hit me the wrong way and I just don't think they even want to make the kind of Indy movie I want to see."  That's a pretty even-keeled statement and conveys your concern without closing the door completely on the possibility of a measure of satisfaction.

Another might be "Holy Jesus Tittyf*cking Christ, I'll give Spielberg $10 and let him simply slam my po-po in a sound clapper board if he doesn't make another smoking turd like the last one."  That's a mildly hyperbolic entry that conveys your concern with a little bit of locker-room humor, and although it makes no claims as to your potential level of satisfaction, it also sets no line in the sand as regards the same.

And there's a fair amount of middle ground between those two kinds of statements that you could explore.  Your current choices, which seem to be along the lines of "I really think this movie will suck and I won't see it even though I liked others and it has no hope of being good in any way whatsoever.  Oh I saw it and it was okay.", are getting a bit... ignorable.

Just trying to help.

Personally, I found this one -

Quote"Holy Jesus Tittyf*cking Christ, I'll give Spielberg $10 and let him simply slam my po-po in a sound clapper board if he doesn't make another smoking turd like the last one."

- to be much funnier.   :D

I don't think it's the same thing as Star Trek at all.

The people behind Indy 5 have a track record of making movies I don't like and it's either going to have a star I think is way to old or a star a don't like in it.

I think it's safe to say that to me any way thins movie is going to suck.

Let me make this clear I know most people loved the last movie but i wasn't one of them i claim to speak for no one but myself.

I am being calm I am not attacking anyone i would just like to say for the record that I don't think this will be a movie I like.

Since my saying this seems to have upset so many people from now on I will not talk about it.

I am so sorry for upsetting you.

No upset here, just trying to help.  I in turn apologize if my advice was over the line.

Doctor Who?

Don't worry it wasn't.

I wasn't really trying to explain to you I was trying to explain to everyone else.

I am not upset and I don't expect most people to agree with me.

That is all I was really trying to say.

I am sorry if it got over the top.

It was kind of a big middle finger to the actors who passed, especially Sean Connery who was supposed to be in it.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?
