Why thank you....I think.....

And I'm sure I'm not the first...but I thought it was "Htom"....

Yeah it was but when I was in the process of choosing a new screename, I made the mistake of trying to do it from memory, and thus screwed it up royally.  In point of fact, I Think it was supposed to be 'Htom Sirveaux' so I got the last name wrong too.  But I kept it anyway, an deventually came to liike it better anyway.....

Gotcha.  Oh yeah, I forgot about the "i", too!
It's too late now, you got a banner and everything!  Do people just make banners for themselves or was there a banner mania thread at some point?
Don't mean that in a snarky way, I was struck by Santa Hat mania this past holiday season.....Santa Hatted all my friends icons whether they wanted me to or not.  It was up to them whether or not to use it of course but still..."MWHAHAHAHA!" ...I felt, as I was feverishly photoshopping.  It's not really a feeling that lasts too long though. ::)

I told them they should have a little section that carried the latest Rifftrax DVDs...they're an independant video store!  They can do those things.

Yes! They totally should. All video stores could do it, would be cool. Someone suggested a Netflix tie-in, but even a real store could have a rifftrax shelf. I've made sure that on Amazon.com you can use the rifftrax tag to find the right stuff.

Maybe you can make a "my favorites" list and share it to some general rifftrax netflix user...

eh, too much work.  I don't even know it they have that type of thing.
I'll keep bugging my video store, they'll all hide when they see me walk in.

sarcasm_made_Easy

by the by crossroads was amazingly hilarious, so despite actually having to get it i would totally recomend that one.

Electric_Nachos

You know I have to say, I've always lurked in forums and then fore....went? the introduce yourself part because I thought it was kind of uncool or something, but this has been very friendly!
Very friendly!

Even the forum itself keeps giving me the option "go down"!  Which is a little forward but I feel quite flattered, some how.
:D

Meh... a little from column a and a little from column b.  I noticed that there didn't seem to be any banners to speak of here when I first joined.  Oh there were and are a few with sigs that are just text, personal quotes and the like.  So I went out on a limb and offered my services in making avatars, sigs, and  banners.  I had done this on a number of other boards that I had joined as well. Here I've done my own as well as those you may have seen for Saucy Rossy, Tarantulas, and sarcasm_made_Easy.  Any others you currently see around here were made by someone else.  Oh and I don't actually have the funds to use photoshop.  I am currently using a shareware program known as 'Paint.net v2.72'.....

Oh, and flawed though it may be I like it just the same.  I guess it's grown on me....

I said
HOW BOUT SOME LEMONADE?

Thom_Serveaux

Eh, what's that? You want to know my age?  Thirty-Nine and a half, my dear....  Say would you mind terribly if I helped myself to some of that lemonade?

Greetings, New Poster!  As of now, my feelings toward you are completely neutral! May they remain neutral or better for many a month, before you say something that annoys me slightly until about a week later when I forget about it! Then, may they remain neutral again!
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Gee BBQ, you're two days late and a couple of bucks short....

Electric_Nachos

Well, I was TOO late to welcome you, Mr. Serveaux.  I believe you were already a Schnappi Supporter by the time I found your introduction thread.  But if you still feel bad about it, this one's for you.

Well to be perfectly honest, I did wait over 2 and a half weeks before I posted my thread.  So since you were kind enough to post a quasi-spontaneous welcome response,(albeit somewhere other than my welcome thread) I am awarding you with this... *gives BBQ Platypus a gift certificate good for any three items listed on my welcome thread of his choice...*
