BE Cult Status?

[Tarantulas]

But will Rifftrax give it LEVERAGE?

[Natureboy]

With the internet, there are going to be really strange people that love this movie and band together to defend it.  Even Hudson Hawk has a strong internet following, so if this streaming pile of crap has one too, it would not surprise me.

[Tyrant]

I want to find these people SO bad just to hear what sort of defense they could muster up for this thing. Normally I'm cool with people thinking whatever they want, but there's just no excuse for BE. None.

[sarcasm_made_Easy]

there excuse usually is in the vicinity of "well I like it"

[mrbasehart]

Personally, I think the film is more watchable than Cocktail, Top Gun, and Fifth Element.  Not because of its quality, but because of its lack of quality.  It's like a really great train wreck where only people's careers are hurt.

[macleod]

Is it a cult movie...yes, in the literal sense

and I agree that Rifftrax will do something for it: it will generate more sales of the DVD than recorded for the last 3 years combined...although that's not saying much...
