I don't know yet, I'll give it one more try. The movie is too great, I kept wanting MK&B to shut the hell up (and I've seen this film so many times, I thought I'd be able to get beyond that) . At first listen it was a decent 6 to 7 - but I'll wait to give my official grade.

See, I just don't see it that way, Bill, because of your motto that you're trying to make movies funny, not merely make fun of a movie.  So this would be like if you took a beef, pepperoni, and sausage pizza (which is already perfection) and added bacon to it.  Just because you're adding bacon to it doesn't mean there was anything wrong with the pizza before.  You're just adding an additional layer of joy to the experience.

Because of this I don't think there was ever a chance of you guys getting bitchslapped.

For me I just couldn't stop paying attention to the movie. There are laughs to be had, but the film is too strong, it demands my attention and as was best said by a member at another board. The riffing does come off like teenagers in a theater who ruin a movie with their smart ass remarks. Never before in the history of riffing have I experienced that sensation.... but Casablanca is not a pizza that's was in need of bacon.

Still, as Trace said of criticisms they received for riffing on This Island Earth, "It's not like we painted a mustache on the Mona Lisa", so true...

I'll always have Paris, it's not like Rifftrax ruined this classic, it was a noble experiment with many a good quip (Loved Bill's Bat-signal line for example). but I don't think I'll make a return visit to this one.

Still, a solid 7 - I liked it better than the Dinosaurs, but not up to Twillight levels for me,

I didn't rate this one, even being a dickhole. I guess I just love this film too much. I watched, really trying to enjoy myself, but, I ended up ignoring the guys and trying to pay attention to what's going on onscreen.

Raiders and Empire are among my favorite films of all time, and I love the riffs for both. But this is different.

I love you guys, but I don't even like this riff.

There's nothing dickholish about not liking a riff, or rating it lowly, it's just that there's often a magical vote of one that's either before they could possibly have seen it or just completely anonymously and without reason, which to me strongly implies trolling rather than voting.
