Because I'm a big JoCo/P&S fan (Incidentally, I wouldn't necessarily have become a fan without them constantly being plugged in the RiffTrax blog), and I think Tron is a good fit for their geeky senses of humor. I also like P&S' da Vinci's Notebook work; I believe "Title of the Song" is the most perfect work of parody ever constructed.
