Twilight Unsynced?

Has anyone else had a problem watching the Twilight Riff in the player? I scanned the forum and didn't see this mentioned.

I've never had an issue with the player before, but when I tried to use it to watch Twilight, the DisembAudio voice was coming a full 10 seconds after the character's line was spoken!

I ended up manually syncing and encountered a very strange problem: I followed the instructions for pausing and re-starting, and the delay was exactly the same as it had been in the player!

If I'm the only one having this problem...does anyone know what would cause it? My copy of Twilight was rented; would that matter?

If this is an issue that's already been addressed, I apologize for the re-post. I was just baffled at how many problems I had getting Twilight synced, though, since the player usually works perfectly.

I'm having the same problem. The sync isn't off by quite as much, it's more like 5 seconds or so. I can get the sync a bit closer by skipping chapters, but it never gets just right. I've tested this out on two computers, my personal one running Vista and one built as a media machine that's running XP. Both have about the same amount of lag and the only way to close the gap in the player seems to be to skip a chapter which means I miss chunks of movie. Rewinding or fast forwarding doesn't seem to do much.

Unfortunately I don't have a point of comparison with another movie in the player. This was the first riff I purchased and I've yet to try another movie with it to see if it does the same thing. I also rented a copy of the movie to watch.

Hmm, very strange. We'll take a look and see if the .riff needs to be redone.

Every time I go to watch Twilight in the RiffTrax player I have to load the .riff file like it's the first time and I get an error message "An exception was raised on the server: Access violation at address 004048B6 in module 'ComX.exe'. Read of address 000FAFE9." Then The .riff loads like normal and I can watch the movie, but then about 15 mins in it goes out of sync. I read that one way to correct out of sync videos is to rewind it a bit, but that just causes it to get worse, and then go into "not responding" mode... Is this the same problem you all are having?

Any fix for this yet?? Mine is behind about 5 seconds too, no matter what I do.

I have this problem with Twilight and The Dark Knight......I hope these little glitches get fixed soon.  Especially Twilight, that's my favorite Rifftrax.
Can I touch your face?  Not with my hands......

I'm having the exact same problem. I tried syncing it with both the player and manually but they just don't keep up with eachother. Is there a fix for this yet?

I was having the same problem, but I found that selecting the chapter it begins to desync on from the scene selection menu clears that up.  Hope this helps someone!

Interesting. So it's just the .riff that gets out of sync, and not the mp3 synced manually?
I tried and tried, but could not get it to sync at the start, however once I got past the first chapter mark, it would always sync itself and was fine after that.

Happening with Dark Knight. It's off by 2 seconds after the first commissioner scene.

Same problem here.  Is there a fix?  Very frustrating to have to skip ahead then move back and hope for the best.
