Once they make Color imprinting or laser-tattooing more accessible, I'll go that route... I like to have full color art on my discs.

I got my burner right before Lightscribe drives became cheap, so all my disc labels are Sharpie specials.

Like I said, I like to have full color art on my discs... so I'm still using the inkjet printable discs.

AND... if you lightscribers out there want, you can easily download my disc design and change it to fit your needs.

OR... do your own!

Is the mp3 at all different?  I ask because my own avi. copy of Planet of Dinosaurs didn't match up too well.  I Audacitied it up a bit and made it synch up well enough last night.
Gotta say, best riff in a while.  The last few trax (this, Twilight, and Empire) have been really great.

If your avi didnt' come from this disc:

Then it won't match up. Does the opening credits have a copyright to Retromedia? If not then your avi came from a different source.

Wow, just noticed that Retromedia screwed up the title of their own disc. The Amazon image says 30th anniversary and the amazon listing say 20th as does the real cover. The movie is from 1977 and the DVD came out in 2007. Cue the wah-wah bugle.

I'm just flabbergasted by the X-Wing on the cover (actually, it looks more like a Z-95* since it only has 2 wings . . . yes, I'm a nerd). That's not actually in the movie, is it?

Quote from: ImrahilLightscribe is a tech dead-end. Not only do the discs play like shit (my bd player won't even play them), but the image starts to flake off after about 6 months. Go look at your old discs; see that white powder? Yeah.

I was just joking about the Lightscribe thing, i know it's kind of a niche market... although i do use them myself. Anyway, you made me curious so i went to check on my old Rifftrax reauthors and didn't see any problems with them, and they play just fine in my Sony Blu-Ray player. So maybe i'm just an exception or something... i'll count myself lucky, i guess.

By the way, maybe if you stopped using your Lightscribe discs as a mirror to chop up that "white powder" they'd play just fine?  :D
