Couldn't agree more.  The only convention I've ever been to is Horrorfind Weekend in Maryland and I've never seen their ticket prices go higher than 45 bucks.  Granted, you have to pay 10-20 bucks per autograph but doing it that way is better than making everybody pay for all the of the guests in the ticket price when someone may only want a few of the guests to sign something.  I go mostly for the events and vendors room, the guests are just an added bonus for me.  What's really outrageous about this $255 price tag is, apparently, you only get one "free" autograph.  I would think a price that high would at least get you autographs from all the guests, especially considering there is only 7 of them and I don't think any of them are famous enough that they'd be able to demand an outrageous appearance fee.
