Grew up in Rescue, California.  It's a real place, had a population of 64.  It's in the Sierra foothills, east of the Governator.  Beautiful area, or was when I lived there many years ago (damn hot summers, snow in the winter).  Since then I have lived in Sonoma, CA (where NAPA is just another four letter word); The Great Republic of TexAss; Helsinki (briefly -- damn cold winters, what summer?). 

I'd tell ya where I live now, but then......

Born and raised in Illinois, Fairview Heights, IL...near STL.  Moved north near Quincy, IL in the high school years, Moved to Carbondale for college at Southern Illinois University.  Got married, graduated and moved straight to Salem, Oregon.  been out here for 3 years now.  Don't really miss the Midwest. 

still a Cardinal fan though....I think I was the only one here cheering when they won the WS.

I'm from Salt Lake City Utah

Ah so im not the only Utahn here. I myself come from "Happy Valley" Utah (that's Utah County where everyone and anyone is Mormom [Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for those who dont know]) Im about 40 miles south of Salt Lake and i havent found anyone that has heard of MST3K or Rifftrax, usually im the one that will introduce them to it.  That's alright though I love the stuff.  I guess that's what makes Utah famous but hey we had the Olympics a few years back and the Utah Jazz arent doing too bad this year.
