I had a 360 about 2-3 years ago( It crapped out, disc reading issues and freeze-ups not RRoD, but still messing up).  I got a Ps3 a year ago, becuase i didnt want to spend money on something that will crap out on me 6 months down the line.  But i had the extra money, so i purchased a new one today.  Went to Gamestop, and picked up a refurbished one for 160 and a used 20 GB HD for 50.  Funny thing is, the used model they gave me was an Elite model with the HDMI output.  So look for paranoia2K. I got Halo 3 for the time being, but i'm looking to score RockBand or Left 4 Dead when i have the money

If you get Rock Band 2, do me a favor and download some tracks.  A lot of the people I play with seem to not do that so we always end up playing the disc songs.  It would be nice to team up with someone and play a more varied setlist.

I thought I'd update my xbox tags and my xbox's situation.

Well, the setup I had on the previous page slowly started to fail. Each time requiring me to "reflow the GPU," which is kind of the equivalent of using a defibrillator on a heart attack victim over and over.  The GPU sh$% a brick and my RAM overheated from all the reflowing(I did this like 10 times). So I found out the best idea yet, buy broken xbox's. If you know anyone that didn't attempt to fix a 360 not covered under warranty, grab it for as little as possible.

I scored one for $50, the DVD drive ate games, but I fixed the drive, it had never red ringed, so I did the xclamp mod before it eventually broke swapped out the tiny GPU heat sink for my old 360's CPU heat sink. Cut a hole in the top, strapped my water blocks to the heat sinks, re did the air ducts, changed my water and small reservoir to a goldfish pond, with goldfish, and a fully functional RC LEGO boat that I built. I think I have more fun getting these things working than actually using them for the intended purpose.

I'm gonna send out some friend requests tonight, might even play halo, though I haven't bought the mythic map pack yet. I've realized I need to make a list of who's who in my friends list. Does Xbox Live give you anyway to do that on the 360? It bugs me that I cannot remember one friend from another.

Still working on building up a good multiplayer game base, mine are few and far between.

BUT! Since I stupidly reformatted my 360 harddrive, I do need to start up Resident Evil 5 (again) and finish that... I refuse to play with the AI in that game, so maybe Ill find some takers on that? Teehee!
