There is also the date at the start of each movie.

While I chose the Indy movie I will admit that Jaws 4 was horrible.

I went to the theater to see this flick and remember a different ending where Mario Van Pebbles actually floated to the surface after the shark was killed and was saved.  Now, when I watch the film (By mistake people) he is always dead.  This particular quandary has bothered me for years and no one believed me when I said that in the original theatrical release Mario was alive.  A couple of years ago in an interview Mario said that they changed the ending when the film went to video and television.  I feel vindicated.  Therefore I didn't pick it as the worst forequell.

Thank you for your time

One of my favorite quotes ever:

"I have not seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

-- Michael Caine, on appearing in Jaws: The Revenge
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Michael Caine could appear in a remake of Birth of a Nation and I would still watch it. Love that guy.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"About a pound."

I voted Indy.  Most of the other franchises had already started sucking.  Indy 4 though just came out of nowhere.  They had so long to make something great and failed utterly.

And I reiterate Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. What, only franchises that ended with part 4 and weren't based on books count?

...I loved the 80's action of The Philosopher's Stone.  I can still hear the Loverboy themesong "it's the sto-own, he wants to ow-own"

I think I'm supposed to vote for Indiana Jones, right?  Because I'm not allowed to enjoy it.
