I was exploring IMDB as I do from time to time, and came across this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0892062/

Hamlet A.D.D.

Featuring
Trace Beaulieu as Evil Robot (voice)
Kevin Murphy as King Robot (voice)

It also has the late Majel Barrett as Queen Robot (voice) along with Dustin Diamond (Screech from Saved by the Bell) and Tay Zonday (Annoying Chocolate Rain guy).

Why have I not heard about this and what in the world is it?

The official website is currently less than helpful: http://www.hamletadd.com/hamletadd/

Well, the wiki page says this:

Hamlet A.D.D., directed by Bobby Ciraldo & Andrew Swant and produced by Special Entertainment, is an 2009 independent feature film which re-imagines Shakespeare's timeless play as a bizarre and comical tour through the ages.[1][2]

This version of Hamlet is a comedy shot entirely in front of a green screen and features live-action characters in an animated world. The story begins in 1602 and leaps chronologically through time to the present, then into the distant future.[1][2]

Guest stars include Dustin Diamond (Saved By The Bell), Majel Barrett Roddenberry (Star Trek), Trace Beaulieu & Kevin Murphy (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Mark Borchardt & Mike Schank (American Movie), Leslie Hall (Yo Gabba Gabba), Samwell ("What What"), artist David Robbins ("Talent"), and legendary comedian Neil Hamburger (Tim & Eric Awesome Show).[2]

The story of Hamlet A.D.D. is the story of a young man who is not quite ready to do the task at hand.

Challenged to kill his uncle Claudius by the ghost of his recently dead dad, Hamlet enthusiastically proceeds to do everything but.

From practicing stage acting in the 1800s to producing a television drama in the 1950s, from dancing at the discothèque in the 1970s to culinary prankery in the distant future, Hamlet always manages to find something to distract himself from taking revenge for his father's murder.

Sounds like an Asylum Pictures version of this.

Sounds interesting.

Maybe Trace & Kevin didn't want it known since it co-stars Dustin Diamond.  I know I wouldn't want it known that I was in a movie with Screech...hell I don't even want it known that I wrote this posting.

Bumping.

Yep. There's a sneak peak on the "Racket Girls" disc. And surprisingly, it hasn't appeared on Youtube yet. (Well, someone tried to upload the entire movie there. D'oh.)

Anyway, you've got a Hamlet and company travellign through time and  this clip seems to be set during a) The 1950s and b) "The play's the thing to catch the concience of the king" part.  The play's shown on a tv set and it's performed by robots. Robots animated in a Davey & Goliath style of animated puppets. Majel Barret's the Queen , Kevin's the King and a barely recognizable Trace is the evil robot. If you've seen the play, you know the drill. King falls asleep. Gets poison poured in his ear. Real king freaks. The end.

Um.... yeah. It's different.  The set seems real minimalist. As in, "we're not showing you background because we can't afford it. But it's an artistic choice!" I'll give it a look when it comes out, but actually seeing it, well, I hope it's just a bad choice of scene that they're using as a sample.
