I just finished watching it, and loved it. That red haired Michael Winslow wannabe near the end was well worth the price. I mean, the scene just kept going and going! I thought I was gonna have a hernia from laughing so hard!

I've just finished watching it.  I felt it was pretty good, the riffs were thinner than on a "proper" rifftrax, and it seemed like Mike weas perhaps good company to watch the film in, rather than just the sole reason to watch the movie.  Some of his riffs were hilarious though, I especially liked the singing woman with no legs, and the man who really doesn't worry about his mule.  Gale Storm is absolutely gorgeous, but limited (something highlighted by the awful sitcom episode of 'My Little Margie').  The other shorts were pretty entertaining for their badness, too.  Phonie Cronies was just rancidly unfunny.  Still, if it's Mike's commentary you want to listen to, it's a good one.

Me and Tyrant were dying of laughter during the scene with the kid doing sound effects. The reaction shots were unintentionally funny on their own. :^)

"Phoney Cronies" is a good short. The cartoon is pretty funny, surprisingly (I've seen a few Stooges cartoons before, and I had remembered them being quite unfunny and painful -- I don't remember if "Souper Man" was one of the shorts that I had seen; either this one is the rare gem in the bunch, or my mind has changed over time), and the movie itself is fantastic entertainment all the way -- great musical sequences, great comedy (both Stooges material and non-Stooges material), and of course, the commentary is terrific. Great release all the way through. Can't wait to see the other Three Stooges discs Legend has lined up for us. 8)

Sweet Xenu yes. Note to Columbia: DO NOT try to make a Three Stooges short without the goddamn Three Stooges.

That is all.

Oh MY, what a horrible movie!  I can't believe Mike made us sit through a MUSICAL!!!  This was easily as bad as Mixed-Up Zombies, except there were even MORE musical numbers.  And they sucked on toast!  (No offense, Disembaudio.)  And, like, what the hell was the deal with that woman who was completely immobile from the waist down?  If she really was incapable of standing or walking, then that movement under her dress during the bench number is even creepier than I thought.  Excuse me while I shudder.  And speaking of ::shudder:: moments, I'm wondering why Mike didn't comment on the nightclub owner's dad's incredibly long, white back hair!!!

I'm traumautized, seriously...

Okay...update here...I just found out the actress who played the sitting-down singer really was paralyzed from the waist down due to a childhood accident: http://www.parabrisas.com/d_boswellc.php

And now I'm REALLY wondering about that movement under her dress!!!  OMG!

I think there was a  small crew of non-union midgets down there.
