No no. See what happens is that Dr. Manhattan gets infected with a space virus. He turns red (cos red is evil) and then comes back to earth to destroy it. Meanwhile, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre have had three children, who because of Laurie's years of exposure to Dr. M, all have superpowers.  These kids have to fight Dr. M. At the end, Dr. M realizes what's happened, and implodes, destroying Asia.

I would watch that movie.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

How did that phone call with Warner go Im?

Tripe

Rumor has it Fox have already jotted down the idea and put it in a lock box just on the off chance Warner does this.

And they're all named after other members of the Minutemen like in those goddamn Star Wars books...

Also: Prequel.

Yeah, right on! 'Cause that one scene of Gugino T'n'A was a bit of a downer. /studio exec]

Actually, there was some talk a couple years after Watchmen's initial publication of doing a prequel-type series focusing on the Minutemen. But Moore had his legal dispute with DC around that time so it never got fully realized. I'm sure if anyone asked him now if he would still be willing to do it, he'd probably say no because he says no a lot more than he says yes.

That and he's taken all of his properties away from DC and refusing to work with them.

That and his beard needs combing and that could take awhile, so he's pretty busy.

Tyrant

I've always had a hard time figuring out if Moore is such a flipping genius that people/companies keep taking advantage of his creative talents to where he gets pissed and walks off in a huff, or if he's just difficult to work with and will walk off in a huff anyway. Or both.

BathTub

I little of both, he's an odd guy there is no real denying of that, but when you hate a company so much that you leave them and join another another, and the original company then buys the new company to get you back, that kind of testifies to both sides of the coin, they really want his stuff, and why he really hates being manipulated  and stuffed around.

In some ways I understand where he's coming from, but on the other hand if you do work for hire stuff, or you sell the movie rights to something STFU and deal with it.

But yeah, he's finally away from DC now, working with Top Shelf.

Doctor Who?

Is this why his name don't appear anywhere in the credits for the motion comic?

It's most likely that he refused, like he did with the films based on his work.
