Since I first heard about RiffTrax, I've been interested in getting Mike, Kevin and Bill as guests at this year's Dragon*Con (www.dragoncon.org). Given Mike and Kevin's huge audience for their Q&A session in 2002, I strongly believe a live RiffTrax performance could be one of the best-attended events of 2007's convention. I have already heard back from RiffTrax that there is definitely interest on THEIR end; now, it's a matter of convincing the Powers What Be at Dragon*Con.

In this vein, I have started an online petition, which people can sign here:

However, an even more effective means of communicating your desires to Dragon*Con would be to email (dragoncon@dragoncon.org) or call (770-909-0115) the convention offices to let them know you want RiffTrax at Dragon*Con.

I can tell you from my prior experiences that feedback from past and potential attendees very definitely affects events that are scheduled at Dragon*Con. You CAN help make this happen.

p.s. I've been told that they like snail-mail letters VERY MUCH. The address is:

Not sure where else to put this but I wanted it to have High visibility. I think this would be an awesome idea, I just don't know if all three guys could do it. I can send a couple emails and find out but right now it's hard to say.

If it could happen I think it'd be a blast. Definitely do what you can to make them aware of RiffTrax and the interest in it, and we'll do what we can on our side to see if Mike is available, willing, afraid, etc.

The should really attempt something in the Midwesten area of our nation...  Find a central point where everyone can equally say "Man, thats a long drive though the corn fields"

I saw Mike and the gang in St. Louis a few years ago and it was a blast.

Mike should consider even setting up some sort of college tour..

I don't disagree; but Dragon*Con has an annual attendance of roughly 30,000 from all over the place, and I can't think of a group more highly concentrated with MST3K (potential Rifftrax) fans.

And, yes, a tour would be awesome. I also work at a non-chain movie theatre, and to be able to put something like a Rifftrax performance together would be sex on a plate.

Sounds painful. It's not a hot plate, is it?

SDCC, but you guys already mentioned that one if I recall correctly.

I live in Houston and you all can stay at my house and have free range on the beer fridge.      I will BBQ and tend to your every (well, remember Texas is a RED state) needs.

You've gotta robot-think outside the robot-box. GoBots: War of the Rock Lords would be a FAR better choice.
