I think its because I empathize too much with characters in awkward situations.

Yeah I think that counts as a "Fish out of water" story. They say there are really only 7 stories in the world and we just keep changifying 'em to say what we need to say. I'm too lazy to look up the basics of the stories though. :^)

BEERxTaco

ooooh I hate it when that happens!

What are you talking about Dr. Impossible?  You always loved those kinds of fish out of water stories!  Don't you know anything about your own life?  Are you coming down with a space cold or something?  Have you the BRAIN WORMS?!!

I'm with you, Sarcasm. There have been only a few live action sitcoms I've been able to stand over the years, and even fewer that were actually funny to me. In fact, All In The Family and Night Court are the only ones coming to mind right now, and I suspect they're the only ones that will in terms of really being funny.

And I never did understand what the rage was all about with "Friends". I watched a few eps. I wasn't impressed.

Pak-Man

I kinda miss the cheesy sitcom. We haven't really seen it since Home Improvement. The ones where there's a family that ribs eachother and there's nothing controversial and someone learns a lesson and there's a laugh track. It's a silly and cheesy archetype, but it's one that I miss. Am I alone, here? :^)

Arrested Development and the Office (Both versions). If you hate either, you have no soul.

you make rather ridiculous claims about what OTHER people should like.

I dont like sitcoms, althoug i am curious about the office if for no other reason than carrell.

as i explained there, i only saw 13 new movies last year.  I based the top ten on how much i enjoyed them not how good they were.  X3 by all REAL standards is terrible but since it was up against the covenant it obviously made it.  I dont understand your problem with pirates though i liked that one a lot and would have trouble seeing what exactly is "wrong" with it.  How can you not like davy jones?

Seinfelds and alexanders inane chatter throughout their "show" is obnoxiously pointless.  (spelling lol)

You still have yet to even attempt to justify munich yet :)
