It's not mine, per se, but I'm still embarassed that my roommate bought the Pamela Anderson Roast and it's rubbing up against my DVDs, infecting them with Andy Dick spores.

Makes me itch just reading those 2 words...
In brightest day, in darkest night
No DVD shall escape their sight
Let those who tremble in bad movies light,
Beware the power, Rifftrax's might!

For those who shudder when Andy Dick's name is mentioned, please check out The Ben Stiller Show.

There was a time when Andy Dick wasn't so god awful nutzo crazy weird. I know, it's hard to believe, but it's true!

For some reason I remember him being the only redeemable character in that Pauly Shore movie in the Army now.....

Good call, it's a funny show....at times.  Stuff like "COPS: In Medieval Times" is simply brilliant, but there was other things that fell flat (like the verbally abusive sock puppet, wtf?) and I think those things killed the show.

My worst movies were both gifts. (they were jokes at my expense, mind, they were MEANT to be bad) and they are

Extreme Ops

Strange Bedfellows.

I've watched E.O. and it was kinda funny, I have never been brave enough to but S.B. into a DVD player.

Which raises the question: Which pairing of words is more disturbing: Andy Dick, or Dick Spores?

One of my most embarassing movies was one of my first. I bought Species 2 right after I got a DVD player cause it was one of the few genre films at the place I was buying some. It's not a good movie. I also have a dvd of Suburban Commando that I got in a Christmas white elephant party thing, and this item was pretty much engineered to make it into my hands. The shrink wrap is still on it though.
I sometimes have to defend my Armageddon Criterion Edition, but screw you guys, it's a great popcorn movie and who doesn't want outtakes of Billy Bob Thornton doing his Slingblade voice in the big NASA set.

Most Prized DVD in my collection? A (german) official DVD of Psychos in Love signed by the director. One of 400 baby!
Grapes? I hate grapes, I can't stand grapes. I loathe grapes. All kinds of grapes. I hate green grapes and I hate purple grapes. I hate grapes with seeds, I hate grapes without seeds. I hate them peeled and nonpeeled. I hate them in bunches, one at a time and in small groups of twos and threes.

My collection

Only two I'm embarrassed to say that I own (I'm a fan of crappy movies - takes a lot to embarrass me) are:

  • The Devil Wears Prada - didn't see it in the theater, got caught up in the hype and grabbed it on sale.  Haven't watched it yet.
  • Star Trek: Nemesis - only bought it to be a "completeist".  Did get it in a "buy one, get one free" offer at least. Again, haven't watched it yet.

It's weird. I'm embarassed to own them and yet SO glad I do, and typically hunt them each down to buy.

I'm almost embarassed to own:
A Snow White Christmas, from Filmation. Same company that did He-Man and the Cosby Kids, Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park, Masters Of the Universe, and Troll 1 and 2. Oddly enough, I bought the Troll dvds before I knew Rifftrax existed. :P I remembered actually loving both movies when I was really little and ordering it at Hastings was worth the wait for the look I got when paying for it haha

Bob

Well, hands down, the worst DVD I own is Feeders 1 and 2, but I am not embarassed by it.    I can get away with owning Glitter and Crossroads due to their rifftrax factor.

But I have no excuse for owning this (it was a gift).   I think he is a great poker player, but the cheesey fonts and everyone saying "ooooohh, so when are you joining the poker tour?" is  a but much.

"Pre-Flop Strategy Card"...If I didn't just see that those were poker terms I swear that would sound so dirty.  XD
