Greetings from Utah

[Ecto88]

Hey everyone! So happy the best Mst3k cast Carries on the legacy. I was lost when it was canceled. Any recommended shorts that and Riffs? I already own Indiana Jones, Matrix Reloaded, Beowulf, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, Transformers, and Star Wars ep 3.

[RoninFox]

Welcome.  The shorts are pretty sure bets, but especially I'd suggest Drugs Are Like That, One Got Fat, and Safety:  Harm Hides at Home.

If you enjoyed the Sorcerer's Stone track, be sure to check out the Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban ones, in my opinion the Harry Potter series is getting funnier every time they riff it.  Some more random suggestions, Eragon, The Happening, The Day After Tomorrow, and the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Thanks for the recommends. I'm sure I can't go wrong. I'm looking forward to carrying the shorts around on my Ipod Touch. $0.99 for comedy gold. You can't beat that.

Welcome to the boards. Enjoy yourself here and don't mind some of our more "mouthy" posters. I'd tell you who they are but I don't want to spoil the fun.

[James of LinHood]

Welcome!  I second the suggestion of the Star Wars Holiday Special.  Comedy gold.  I'd also suggest checking out the cheesy 80's movies riffs like Road House and Over the Top.

[Thrifty]

I reccomend Point Break, just because its lead character is named Johnny Utah.

Battlefield Earth is my favorite.

Troll 2, Over the Top, and Independence Day are great too.

And if you happen to be in the mood for a Rifftrax without humor or jokes, get The Phantom Menace.

[Compound]

I'd recommend Firewall and The Grudge. And Drugs are Like That is a great short.

Buy the iRiff Incognito Cinema Warriors have up.

Heh.  One Got Fat, and Safety:  Harm Hides at Home are two of my favorites.  I also love Self-image:  If Mirrors Could Talk, mainly for the kid who goes around so depressed all the time.

When it comes to official Rifftrax, I like The Happening and Eragon the most, and I like the Rifftrax for all three of the Star Wars Prequels.  And the one for Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.  It's gotten so I start laughing right at the start of the movie when Sybok is riding across the desert.

There are also a number of tracks in the new iRiff section which are quite good.

[Doctor Who?]

Welcome on Board.

The Star Wars Holiday Speicle is the best Rifftrack.

[THE QUEEN!!!]

Willkomenn. I used to live in Utah--I know why you're lost without MST3K. I also recommend Star Wars Holiday Special, but be prepared to be exceedingly traumatized. I also recommend Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and X2.
