The joke is that the character Julia Roberts plays looks like Julia Roberts.  The Oceans 11 gang use that to their advantage during on of their heists in the movie, and Julia Roberts ends up playing someone pretending to be herself.

multi-threading I see Andrew well, dont MOST people hate lynch (dont answer that ) but back on point, how did this joke ever see the light of day? I wasnt kidding when I called it the darkest moment in the history of cinema... I whole heartedly believe that... that said hopefully oceans 13 will regain some of the formor glory of the original-remake < hmm, ignor that oxymoron and hopefully that statement made sence

ok now thats just silly.  Its like something from futurama.  and why didnt the other 11 of them also do the same thing if that was the case, cause i know at least one of them bares striking resemblence to brad pitt.

I saw Ocean's 12 on a plane, which is not exactly optimal viewing conditions, but the Julia Roberts joke seemed to be the only half-way original idea in the movie.

I think George Clooney may be in possession of those false teeth Pinky & the Brain made that make people adore you for no good reason.
