Hi all, I've been a big fan of MST3K from 1995 on.  I used the MSTies to get me through my freshman year of college, and then learned that when I got home in 1997, (dad was sick, no money for college) MST went from Comedy Central to SciFi... BUT not before I met Trace Beaulieu as one of the test audience members for MST3K the Movie (I have the poster AND his autograph, THANKS Trace!!) and was so hooked that I blackmailed one of my high school English teachers to give me tickets to the LAST Cable Ace Awards.  Guess who was nominated??  MST3K on Sci Fi, who not only was there in force but Joe Don Baker was as well.  Soooo... THANK YOU SO MUCH, Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett *who tried to get me into the afterparty* Kevin Murphy and Jim Mallon for autographing my last MST3K newsletter (and now known as THE last MST3K newsletter) and for being so... well... awesome.

As Bill said... "How did you GET here??"  (in that I'd bribed my old high school English teacher)  "But how did you get IN??" (still, old high school teacher, and then he was fascinated that I was 20 and still speaking to my old English teacher... and THEN Mike said) "I'm so glad there's someone here, because nobody took our picture on the red carpet..." and again, as we were ducking out towards the end, and MST3K didn't win against whomever they were up against at the Cable Ace Awards.... Mike said... "Kevin's in there... (in the theater) clapping and acting like he cares about the winners."  In reference to Joe Don Baker... "We could take his fat lumpy distended self with our hands tied behind our back, f*ck him as Abraham Lincoln, or whomever, we'll beat his ass down in the parking lot."  Word of God.  ;D

LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Hi everybody, I'm a long time fan of all things MST3K going back to 1990 (fan club member#3345).  Me and my friends try to get together for a rifftrax night every couple of weeks, and we still haven't seen 'em all.  Between Mike, Kevin and Bill tackling (mostly) the blockbusters here, and Joel, Trace, Frank, Mary Jo and Josh taking on the z-grade classics over at CT, this is probably the best time to be a fan in the last 10 years.  Viva MST.  PS, hope to see some of you on iRiffs' opening day. My group is called the Humornauts and we're going to be doing "Nell" with Jodie Foster.

Enjoyed the heck out of the live show, but I know I'm not alone in my adoration for that and the excitement of it becoming a regular thing.
I'm also excited to finally have a high speed online access and the ability to download all the Riffing Goodness I've been missing due to the worst internet connection in the world, well maybe that is a bit severe, but definitely the worst in the United States, okay even that might prove a little severe...

Irregardless I'm glad to be here.

Hey all.  I just wanted to say hello.  I've been registered here for very nearly two years, now.  I've been lurking and enjoying the conversations but have neglected to post.  I mean I do tend to be shy, but 2 years?  Gah.

Well, like most of you I'm a big MST3K fan from back in the day.  I am sooo happy that Rifftrax exists now.  I think the first RT I saw was "The Matrix", and I was hooked.

So, uh, anyway, hi!
