JoshWay's free comedy album download - listen at your own doom

[JoshWay]

While loading up a new iPod, I came upon a few folders worth of material I recorded in college on the radio and in a studio. I combed through them and assembled the least embarrassing tracks into a little album, which I offer to you as a download.

Repeat: this is COLLEGE COMEDY. Listen at your own risk. Targets include many mid-to-late 90s favorites, such as cable TV, cable news, urbanish syndicated sitcoms, AOL, right-wing talk radio, and Søren Kierkegaard. Plenty of "homage" to Monty Python, Firesign Theater, That Damn Show, and many others to be found here.

Thanks for allowing me to exorcise these demons. Let's never speak of this again.

PS - I must also mention my dear friend and colleague Brian Dickett, who did the audio editing on the parts that sound good.

Downloaded it and plan on listening sometime this week.

I am sure it is at least as good as Emo Phillips.

Thanks. Your best bet is to keep those expectations low.

"You keeping it real... hitting the books no matter how hard it gets so they'll let you keep playing intramurals?"

"EMBROIDERY SLAM!"

"I'm Trent Boxleitner... and no... I'm not related to Trent Dilfer"

Well, it's funnier when you hear it.... and there is a reference to the song "Shoop!" in there somewhere... so it's all good. I would have listened to your show had we attended the same college at the same time and a girl that I sorta made out with after drinking too many Boone's Farms had told me about your show and how funny it was... and seeing that I was still harboring unrealistic hopes of getting in her pants, I would have totally tuned you in thinking me and this girl would have something in common to talk about the next time I waited in the commons for her to head to the cafeteria... and then I would slying drop a JoshWay reference and she would be all like "oh wow... you totally understand me!" ... and then I would have all been like "SCORE!"

[JoshWay]

LOL, Nunyerbiz.  I would have been honored to provide that service.

Nice stuff Josh!

Listened to them all.

"John Flibberty" was fantastic would like to hear a 10 minute sketch of that.

"Daylight Savings" Would make a great movie! This would make a nice 5 minute skit....review of the movie or an interview with the cast.

"Beneath the Music" Great idea.

"Hollywood this Evening" 'Tehran' sounds like a sure fire Hollywood hit!

"Burger Dungeon" That 80's music made me ill.....good job!

"Christopher Sweet Show" Brilliant.

Thanks for sharing!

[JoshWay]
