Yeah, well, Blade Trinity was the real suck-fest in my mind.

But, but, but, it has a vampire Pomeranian in it, which is the height of adorability. Not sure it's supposed to be adorable but...

Relaxing Dragon

I'm going to say David Fincher's Panic Room. Bleh :P

And while I enjoy Blade 2, that is definitely not a high point in del Toro's career (and and, Blade Trinity sucked hard).

Agreed. I like Raiders, adore Last Crusade, and even enjoy Crystal Skull...but I can't sit through the entirety of ToD.

My guy friend likes to use that phrase, meaning that when looking at a girl everything is nice...but her face.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

And I really didn't think much of Scorsese's Bringing Out the Dead.

I want dibs on The Color of Money.

I am going to place Spielberg in his own category - great director who makes awful movies.
You know, if the space man puma thing turns out to be the correct religion, I for one will be very surprised.

The supposed fact that her music was influential doesn't make it any less shitty sounding. :)

And her "films" are even worse.

There's a real difference between "it sucks" and "I don't get it".

Art is subjective. Not enjoying something doesn't necessarily make it bad.

Plan 9 from Outer Space is generally acknowledged as being bad. When you set out to make a serious sci-fi film and end up making a comedy, that's failed art. Yoko Ono's art albums and films were intended to be disorienting. If these works have this effect on you, she's doing her job.

Some of her more pop-oriented efforts might be more accessible, though.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Conversely, something being bad and tedious doesn't make it art.

Huh... Temple of Doom is my favorite one. Then again, I'm primed to love a movie where a man's still-beating heart is ripped from his chest. I think it's genetic.

And I'm surprised there's only one brief mention of Francis Ford Coppola. The guy who directed The Godfather 1 & 2 and The Conversation, who also directed Jack and Tucker.

I'll also nominate The Guardian and William Friedkin, though he certainly has plenty other garbage movies to choose from.

Yoko Ono produced art albums that ended up influencing artists and genres.

You're living in a fantasy. You make Yoko Ono sound like The Velvet Underground. The difference is, the list of artists who cite V.U. as an influence actually exists.

Her first album The MC5 laid the foundation for punk.

There. Fixed it for ya.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Isaac, you bloody lunatic. I never said Yoko Ono and Mad Monster were the same thing. Just that they were both excruciating to the point that experiencing them at the same time could possibly kill you.

Me: Zebras are black and white
Isaac: Nuh-uh, black and white aren't the same color.

Robert Greenwald makes great documentaries - OutFoxed, for example.

And for some reason, in 1980 he directed a musical.....
