I spent the night in Bristol, England once... I seem to remember a pretty cool bridge. That's where they do that stomp thing, right?  ;) Or maybe that's Bristol, Tennessee, or Bristol, Connecticut...

That would be the Suspension Bridge:

Hmm...Stomp? I think someone was messing with the tourists.   ;D

Ah, good to seem some pure and wonderful fellow Cardinals and Rams fans on the board!

I'm from STL and went to college at Mizzou (at the previously mentioned Columbia..... where the drugs are Meth and not Coke).   Living in Houston now and missing STL every day.   At least I kept my Rams season tickets.

I had Rams tickets since the first season they moved here, just sold my PSL last spring... I figured I'd seen the best it was gonna ever be in 1999. Besides, it seemed like I always had more fun before the game down at Morgan Street Brewery and I can go down there before any game without having a ticket lol...

The Bristol Stomp was an old song by The Dovells I think? I'm sure it wasn't about YOUR Bristol...

Ah.  Well, I've never head of it.  Unless you mean the Wurzels? If the lyrics feature anything about drinking cider, or farming of any kind, then it's about our Bristol.   ;)

Good lord! That's awful!  ;D

I'll ask my parents about it tomorrow.  Thanks!

Is that bridge still standing?  I heard the Vicious Chicken knocked it down back in '93.

After Sir Robin ran away, there was no one to stop the carnage.  A sad day.

I live in New Mexico (And it's a STATE, people!) in a little city called Rio Rancho just outside Albuquerque, where Bugs needs to turn LEFT. :^)

I lived in New Mexico for a little bit. I went back to Florida for a time and I still had my NM drivers license. I tried to write a check at an Incredible Universe and I gave the cashier my licence. She looked at it all puzzled and told me she had to get a supervisor. I thought maybe she just needed approval for the check since it was like $300. I heard her on the phone talking about the license and I looked at her and said. You do know that New Mexico is a state right? She then said "ohhhhhhhh" and cancelled the supervisor call.

Right now I live in Tucson, arizona where our drivers licenses don't expire until you are 65. Whenever I use my license in another state I have to assure them that it is not fake and that my license is good until 2036. I always joke with bartenders and bouncers that if I was going to make a fake AZ dl why would I make it expire 30 years from now.
