Yeah, I noticed that too.  I also noticed the trailer for 2012 had some music from the Shining.  Nice that they are getting away from the usual musical trailer fair, but I don't want those to tunes to become cliches.

Any look at the film so far would show they have gone to huge lengths to stay very close to the source material, I think they are doing a good job. Hey it could still suck, over doing the slo-mo in the trailer, I hope that's not so prominent in the final film.

I just picked up the comic at work for $11.50.

I don't know how they are going to make a movie out of this,i think it would make a better anima then a movie.

Still I am looking forward to the movie and even if it sucks we will get a Rifftrax and at least i got to read the book.

If they made it an anime I don't see how they could resist having a giant tentacled monster in the movie and it not raping everyone.

They are actually do some sort of animation with the graphic novel, Dave Gibbons is involved and it's part of the promotion of the movie.
