I have never been a fan of the MST3K-take on SCCtM but am eager to see what the Titans can do with it.

I like this very much.

I look forward to this one.  Enough time has passed since the original MST3K version that it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Speaking of Xmas-riffing!  Hopefully, Mike and co. will come up with something as cool as last year's Xmas present to all of us.  That will be very hard to top. (Hint: Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas In July would come close!)   :)

Is this CT006 or CT005  ???

Maybe the topic can be edited?

This will release November 20. BotV should be out in 2009 and be CT00? ???

CT006. The next one is Blood of the Vampire, I think.

Same here.  I'd be just as against the idea of Mike, Kevin, and Bill deciding to riff a movie that they already did on MST3K.
Interesting...

I haven't gone back to look at the other threads regarding Plan 9, so I may be mistaken here, but I don't seem to recall any huge waves being created when Mike re-did his Legend commentary with the three Riffers. So it's interesting to me that so many people (not just here but elsewhere) seem to have reservations about Cinematic Titanic's film choice. To me, it seems like Mike has done the same thing (and much more recently and with repeated material) and yet the Titans are met with more resistance. Why? I'm not trying to start anything, just genuinely curious.  :)

Well for one thing, the Rifftrax rerelease was only a couple of dollars.

No:

"Of course, "Blood of the Vampires" will be a DVD we'll be releasing in the future, sometime early in '09." THIS is CT005.
FINE

I renamed the Blood of the Vampires thread (which I jumped the gun on it appears) to CT006.

Well, we can hardly be called true fans if we don't get the ordering right now can we? I, for one, committed sepuku earlier to atone for my egregious error. I suggest you do the same.

Though really, I blame you completely for all of this, because when I made this thread, I had followed your numbering...  :P

Actually, I did it all as a test to see if you were a follower or a leader.    Sadly.....

I'm just a fan of originality, and redoing something like this just seems to lose it's.. 'originality zing'  that it had :-\

Yeah, or do a "Three Riffer" version of something Mike already did by himself.... how lame.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Edward J Grug III

I'm not even sure they originally planned to release the 3-riffer version, except they were performing it live and people demanded it on the forums.
