marijuana in its natural form is less deadly then tobacco.  they are processed and smoked the same way, tobacco is not a "drug", hence i dont concider marijuana a "drug' either.  YES in a LEGAL sence it is a 'drug' and regulated by the FDA and other organizations.  but i was meaning in personal referances to individuals.

Not just legally but medically too, and Tobacco is a drug or rather Nicotine is, just as THC in pot is a drug.

Digitalis grows all over the place too and it is also a drug.

And for most people it is also a drug, it just happens to be a drug that many of it's users think should be legal, but few if any of those are under the impression that it is not a drug.

i see what you're saying, i do.  my uncle was perscribed medicinal MJ for a while before he died.  its just, when i ask you what is a drug, what would you answer?  there are so many different ways to define drug.  when someone asks me what is a drug, from my criminal justice classes, i answer crack, cocaine, heroine, acid...etc....ask a cancer patient what is a drug and they will probably fire off a list relating to their medicines.  Alcohol is a drug in legal terms.  but i myself dont refer to it as a drug.  just as i dont refer to medicine as "drug" just because of the feeling of the word that goes along with it.  when someone is useing that medicine in the incorrect way, yes i'll then refer to it as a drug because it then becomes a drug. 

but thats just me and how i feel guys.
