That's just stupid.  It reminds me of something I had to deal with while running a theater in a predominantly black suburb.  Apparently some Rap/R&B station DJ decided to announce that movie theaters were selling tickets to 'white' movies in the place of something like Bad Boys 2 or Barbershop in order to keep the gross for 'black' movies down.  This is not true.  The kid selling you your ticket is probably 16 years old, dumb as a brick, new to the job, and doesn't give a shit.  They just hit a random button because they just don't care.  As a theater manager you basically spend all of your time trying to control chaos.  Theater managers are overworked and underpaid.  They do not have the time or energy to partake in a conspiracy.
Oh, and the focusing/sound thing the article mentioned:

Why is it all these right wing i love american so hard it hurts movie. Always feature bad country music. Country music as a whole hasnt been good since the 80's. Give me Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson anyday over Toby Keith.

P.s. I agree David Zucker hasnt been funny since the Naked Gun movies.
