Working on the subtitle track right now.  This one is really annoying since it's Hearing Impaired.  I gotta go through and manually remove dozens upon dozens of [Grumble]'s and [Indistinct Noise]'s.  Not to mention the genius's have three lines in a subtitle at times.  I don't know whether to edit them to two lines or keep them.  Anyways, it'll probably be posted later tonight for those of you that want them for DVD authoring.

Oh, and to leave you off.

[ lndistinct voices, laughing , whistling ]
[ Smacks lips ]

It's done.  This track contains italics and three line subtitles.  When making your .sup in Subtitle Creator, make sure to select 3 lines and move the subtitle box so that it's not on the bottom of the screen.

That should be cause for firing, right there.

Yeah, I'm a subtitler.

Is it really worth the effort? I turned on the subtitles for my very first RffiTrax experience, but never since. Mike always does a good job of not stepping on the dialogue. Years of MST have tought me good movie listening skills.

I use the subtitles, mainly so I don't miss any of the dialogue of the movie.  I have the rifftrax volume quite loud compared to the actual movie so I don't distracted into focusing only on the movie.

I really only find its worth it if it's 'forced subs' and Mike/Kevin are making references to it.

It's all good.  I personally find them useful, especially if i haven't seen the movie before.  I post these up so that anyone who wants to use them can.  Once you have the srt, it only takes 3-5 minutes of work to incorporate them into your DVD.  So I find it's especially nice if you're like me and want your DVD authors to be "definitive".

Subtitles used to annoy the piss out of my ex girlfriend. Now I can watch all the subtitles I want and no sex! Yaaaaay...wait.

speaking of forced subtitles are there any for this movie?  Episode 1 pissed me off the first time i put my dvd together, but caused me to be on the look out for these things. And since i have never seen this movie (and dont really feel like watching it all before i watch it with rifftrax) i want to make sure i dont miss any.

Shinigami

Nope, as far as I know Ep 1 and XXX are the only movies that have forced subs.
