Alright, here's the official request.  It was mentioned by some one else, but I fear it has gotten lost in the topic.  A video game board would be a nice addition.  There seems to be ample discussion to warrant the creation of a new board.  And I believe it will spur even more discussion, because it's kinda awkward to make topics about video games in the general board.  I'm sorry Rifftrax, but it looks like your fan base is a bunch of nerds.

Okay I have an official suggestion,

Can we please have a sidebar option (by the avitar) to list what state (or providence ) we are from? I like to reference my state in conversations but I'm getting tired of trying to remember all of my fellow Minnesotan posters . It sure would be helpful

Someone back me on this, wouldnt it be cool to know what state everyone is from?

Actually I would like to create (or reuse) a global map API that would allow each user to put in their zip code - which would then put a "push pin" or something similar where that user is from. You might see something like this on fark or newswire type websites that have comments enabled.

I'll see what I can do. If that doesn't work, then a state drop down it is. (If I can find or make the mod).

I believe Gammer meant that Canada has Provinces (and Territories) rather than Providences.

If we're going to have states and providences in this option, what about British Counties? 

Not to be the ignorant American, but wouldn't British Counties be a little too specific? That would kind of be like me saying I'm from Orange County (NY), USA. England/Scotland/Wales would certainly work though. (Like anyone lives in Wales.  )

Anyway, I second a State option request. I'd like to be able to tell what other members are from my region as well.
