Pal version Now Available!!!

[Creepy]

Hi Guys

Ever since the Riff for I am legend was released, I've been checking regularly in the hope the pal version was there so I could throw my money away. Whats the procedure here? I see two towers has already got its pal version. Is will smith (more) unwatchable at 25 frames a second?

[Conor]

We are waiting for Bathtub, who does our PAL conversions, to verify that it works and then upload it.

Bathtub, is there an ETA for I Am Legend PAL?

[Creepy]

Hmm Bathtub seems not to be reading the posts, could you mail him? sorry to be a pain I just really want this riff

[TangoThanato]

Same here, I already bought the thing without seeing that the PAL version wasn't there yet...I had to watch this film without RiffTrax now.... the horror!

[thesciphishow]

Hi guys,

Any news on the PAL version of this, at this time ?

I just bought it as well, not really paying proper attention to the fact that there was no PAL version

If anybody is interested and still handing out for the PAL version, the following does work.

http://www.jakeludington.com/dvd_hacks/20061125_convert_pal_to_ntsc_with_virtualdubmod.html

Follow the instructions (although I did the calculations on 23.976 and not 24 as it suggests.

The film synced up perfectly without any difficulty at all.

I tried it with Audacity and there were some issues with drifting. Nothing major but it distracts me when the riff's out of sync so it did spoil my enjoyment a wee bit.

[TangoThanato]

No love for us PAL people then huh?

[TangoThanato]

*sniff*
Bathtub, work your magic please

[d3bjorn]

No love for us PAL people then huh?

No, they hate us. They'd spit us in the face if we didn't all live over-seas.

Nah, I'm sure it'll show some time in the future...

[Conor]

We haven't forgotten!

It took us a little while to implement a new system for getting bathtub the DVDs, but he should be getting this and cloverfield in the next couple of days, so we'll have them up whenever he gets a chance.

[Trumpy's Magic Snout]

Thanks for letting us know Connor. Looking forward to watching this one again synced properly as it was pretty good while constantly drifting!

[TangoThanato]

Doing my monthly check again...
please bathtub, save me from this horrible movie

[TangoThanato]

4 months since the request was made... is there any new information on this? an ETA or something else?

[Conor]

PAL version of I Am Legend is now available.  If you previously bought the Riff it has already been added to your account.  Thanks for bearing with us, it took way too long to get that one.

Enjoy!
