Oh my, week one and we already have TeamRAD eliminated!

Since I am the only one that picked the Giants in our league, I stand alone in first place

* assumes the "Il Duce" pose *

I am surprised by the number of folks that picked the Steelers, Colts and Patriots week one...... now they can never have them again. >:D

kodiakthejuggler

I'm just happy it wasn't me!!

I've never done this before, and I'd surely expect to go down quick. Let's hope it lasts at least a little while.

Bob

With the way there are upsets all the time in the NFL, there is no such thing as a lock.

Raven

I guess you can already make your pick for next week if you want.  That's an improvement over last year.

Whoa chief...we're supposed to pick as much of a sure thing as possible.  The Giants 3-5 home record last year didn't sell me on an absolute win.  Let's wait a few weeks before we start patting ourselves on the back. :)

Cool.

I'll go with a tentative ... Pittsburgh over Cleveland (for Week Two)

NEVER!

This is the only time that I will be in first place by myself, so I had best enjoy it.

I am not sure if the best strategy is to save the sure things until later, or use them now........ I've never played this before.

Minnesota

The best strategy is to find the worst teams and pick them to lose in my opinion.

For example, knowing the Patriots record pales in comparison to knowing the Dolphins record. You can only choose a team to win once... you can choose a team to lose every week :)

Also, on second thought I probably wont stay with my week 2 pick... the browns might surprise some people this year.

Same here.   Indy and NE seemed the most sure thing out there.  So I went with Indy.

Yeah, I would not pick now...... you never know who will be a last minute scratch next week.

Minnesota

Well considering last year. I will definitely be picking AHEAD of time. I was out of town one weekend and didn't get back until Sunday. Would be nice if the game let me pick a Monday Night team... but the deadlines don't seem to take late games into account.

I'd at least put something down.  You can always change it later.

dignan

Yeah, you're not locked in until just before the first game of the week starts.  You can change your pick as much as you want before then.

Bah, Il Duce only picks once!

Raven

Just looking over the list.  We're guaranteed at least one more week one elimination.  Kodiak picked Miami.  Agent Ispep and myself both picked the Jets.   Unless of course they tie.  I don't know if ties eliminate you or let you advance.
