Donnie Darko

I was wondering when someone would bring this one up, it seems like one of those dividing films (either you love it or you hate it; kinda like Crash (which I loved; just putting that out there))

Anything by Tarentino!

I generally like Tarentino's films and always find them very entertaining.  I wouldn't go so far as to proclaim him a cinematic master, but I always know I'm gonna have a good time at one of his flicks.

Doctor Who?

I will take your 300 (for I feel that it is looked down upon in many large circles) and I'll raise you a Sin City, which still holds the respect of far too many people, in my opinion.

Relaxing Dragon

Myself included; love Sin City (ditto for all things Tarentino; sorry, but I'm a fanboy for him, and adore all his work).

Moving along: Live Free or Die Hard. Apparently some people believe this was a proper (and not at all terrible) continuation of the Die Hard series. I weep for these people.

Doctor Who?

Yeah it's one of my brother's favorite movies but i can't stand it.

I like Tarantino but I definitely think he's regressing as a director.  Much like Wes Anderson, he seems to be happy to play in his own personal sandbox without any thought of expansion in depth or substance.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Pulp Fiction is one of the most overrated movies of all time.

Agreed!! I don't know what all the fuss is about. It has its moments, but overall it's just blecch.

Doctor Who?

The only part I really liked was Bruce Willis' part and that wasn't long enough to make me want to watch the whole movie again.

I didn't hate it, I just didn't see what the fuss was about.

Fight Club gets my vote. I like independent/foreign films that try to convey overly deep meanings.... this was not one of them in my opinion.

Because it was made in America and had a large budget, right?

The whole "Strarship Troopers" shit pile of movies.

Someone thinks these were good?

What am I saying....look at the "Firefly" fan base.   ::)

Would you guys believe when i told you I've chatted with some...uh...kids (Well they looked like teenagers to me, perhaps early 20's would be stretching it a bit.) who actually thought Epic Movie was the second coming of comedy?
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?
