A Solid 8, I approve of Richard Cheese.

Rattrap007

6/10 for me. Some good lines like "King Hippo is fighting Soda Popinski.." but I found the riff very bland.. Fits the blandness of the movie. I just wasn't laughing my ass off enough. Still worth a listen. But I feel this is the worst one yet... Just a very blah riff.

Normally I give out 8+s. 7 for a poor riff, but this one was just bland. Mike just had an off riff this time. Maybe the next one will be better.

Definitely a nine.  Richard Cheese was cracking me up the whole track.  I really hope he comes back for encore.

I enjoyed it a lot. I laughed more at this one than the Memento or Harry Potter.  Cheese was good and I hope he provided a lot of the material.

Cheese was great. Good delivery. I'd love to see him come back for another Ocean's.

"...and you BLEW IT!!!"  :D

I'd rank this Rifftrax up there with some of the best done yet.  Easily the second best Rifftrax with a guest riffer (behind Missile To The Moon).

9 out of 10.

Bring back Cheese for Ocean's Twelve!!!  Or what about the original Ocean's Eleven?

I'll give it an eight.  Richard impressed me, and I'm really surprised a comedy turned out this well riffed, especially one I already liked.

Well I don't know if I'd call it a straight-up COMEDY. There are comedic elements, but it's more about the thrill of the heist than making the audience laugh.

That said, well done! Every line was a winner and Cheese was great. I think Mike actually cracked him up once or twice and that's always fun to hear in a 'trax. I give it an eight!

Maybe I'm off, but I always considered this a comedy.  Funny dialog throughout and every twist of the plan seems to be made to draw a laugh.

Even with the comedic elements I consider this to be a heist film, a genre in and of itself.

Well, I think it's all of those, but IMDB lists it as a comedy first:

This one has had pretty mixed reviews, I think I'll watch it this weekend.

Give it a 9.67 (round up to a 10)

With the possible exception of DareDevil, this was the weakest RiffTrax by far.  It's a shame, because Mr. Cheese did an excellent job with the material on hand, but this movie wasn't right for the medium.

1/10.  I would have awarded 0, but Richard Cheese did well enough that I don't want be a jerk about it.  Mike seemed like he was just going through the motions.

My initial reaction was much more positive, but a second viewing revealed how thin this broth really was.  If you don't believe me, watch it again.  Seriously.  This one is Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy or Hamlet bad.

The real problem is that Ocean's Eleven is really a huge, towering mound of nothing.  It violates several conventions of the heist film; most notably, the audience is not really in on the plan until it happens.  (Big mistake in that genre.)  It has a lot of "star power," but no one actor or character really does much, unless you count Brad Pitt's incessant snacking.  (Brad, watch out for the Munchies.  They have ways of making you munch when you're not hungry...)  If this movie is supposed to be a comedy, it's about as funny as Howard the Duck.  The basic premise has a lot of potential for black comedy, action, or even drama (the seedy side of even the best career criminals, maybe?).  Ultimately, everyone seemed so concerned about conveying what a good time they had on the show, that the whole business of making a legitimate story became secondary.

EDIT: As you can tell, my review is somewhat affected by my absolute hatred of this movie.
