Re-Write the Prequels

shh...stop we set out to rewrite the prequels, leave the original trilogy alone!

And that is all we are going to do.

While it's fun to bitch about the OT we're only going to redo the prequels, the OT with whatever problems we might find  with them (and those will vary from person to person I fancy) are pretty sound all things considered.

And I've finished with Return of the Jedi. Seeing the whole trilogy has brought me to a startling realization-
Lucas was right.
Lucas created THE definitive story of the Rise and Fall of Anakin Skywalker. There is simply nothing more to be said.

I'm not sure I feel about Anakin going into complete retirment, but him taking a more sedentary role might work well for the begining of part 3.

Ok so how were you thinking of that with more detail?

The spreadsheet looks great.

And i just mean that I think that Anakin should move away from the increasingly politically complicated conflicts the Jedi are getting into, perhaps just moving into a teaching role, (perhaps a good place to introduce the "Maybe Vader",) or a study role. Or just have him staying close at home, helping his wife's planet rebuild.
In any case, a pursuit of a simple life, but being unable to turn his back entirley on his Jedi duties. Perhaps this leads to some frustration itself, having to resign to his inability to go back.
