So I registered this name here last year, and apparently never posted even once.  Fellow member Pezdrake suggested I change that, so here I be.

Hello everyone.  I post on the blog quite a bit, but just as Adam (to refer to myself as TV's Adam seemed disrespectful somehow...and yet that didn't stop me from using this as my forum name.)

I don't know what to say, exactly.  I live in New Jersey.  I work as an editor.  I make music.  I do fan riffs on YouTube with a good friend of mine (which is how I met Pezdrake, who does them as well).

The first time I saw MST3K was Alien From LA, and I guess it must've been in syndication at the time or something because we didn't get Comedy Central.  I had no idea what it was but laughed myself silly.  I didn't see it again for two or three years.

Then one day in 1997 I stumbled upon it on the SciFi Channel and instantly remembered what it was.  I watched "The Mole People" and fell in love all over again.

Also, one time I saw a blimp.

Yes.

Blimps good. Blimpie sub sandwiches, not so good.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your first post.

Well we used to have a local pizza/sub shop that had a sandwich called 'The Blimp'.  Actually it was more like all the subs were available in a 'Blimp' size.  It was about 1/3 of a loaf of Italian Bread in size, and it WAS good...

Oh, I don't know, Blimpie isn't SO bad.  ...though it would sit near the bottom of my "chain sandwich shop" ranking system.  Which I really need to get working on.

There was a Blimpie in Winchester when I was at school.

One day a friend of mine went in for a sandwich. As she was giving her order to the pimply spod behind the counter, he sneezed violently into his plastic glove covered hand, reached behind him and wiped the improvised handkerchief on the ass of his jeans and then proceeded to make the sandwich.

Somehow whenever I think of Blimpie, that story comes to mind and I can't bring myself to ever eat in any of them.

OK.

I retract my statement.

Although...can the actions of one Blimpie-employed pimply spod be used to condemn all Blimpie-employed pimply spods?

Tripe

Oh no, absolutley not, but for me I can't think of Blimpie without thinking of the "extra dressing" :speechless:

Thom_Serveaux

Ewwwwwwww.... now I can't either, thanx a bunch Richard!   :P

Well my work here is done,

Blimpie isn't bad in my opinion. Decent subs... plus, I knew all the employees (nowhere near Winchester ) so I never had to pay for anything.

... come to think of it... they went out of business. Never really felt guilty about it till just now, lol.
